IRB Ganga Expressway Commences Trial Run Operations

IRB Infrastructure Trust's SPV commences trial run traffic operations on Ganga Expressway Group 1 from April 30, 2026, with toll collection to start soon.
The 129.7 km six-lane greenfield expressway project cost ₹6,538 crore with ₹2,133 crore equity investment from IRB Infrastructure Trust.
Project inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, featuring 1 km Ganga River bridge and reducing travel time between NCR and Eastern UP by 50%.
With this commissioning, all projects in IRB Infrastructure Trust's portfolio become revenue generating, with IRB Group investing ₹25,000 crore across 5 UP highways.
