IRCTC Appoints Rajneesh Narain as Finance Director

Appointment Details

The Ministry of Railways, Government of India vide letter no. 2023/E(O)II/40/22 dated June 11, 2026 has approved the appointment of Shri Rajneesh Narain to the post of Director (Finance), IRCTC.

Background of Appointee

Shri Rajneesh Narain is currently serving as Director (Finance) at Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).

Terms of Appointment

• Appointment is made on immediate absorption basis
• Pay scale: ₹1,80,000–3,40,000/- (IDA)
• Effective from: Date of assumption of charge
• Tenure: Until superannuation on June 30, 2030 or until further orders, whichever is earlier

Next Steps

The Company is taking necessary action to complete the appointment formalities in compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Requisite disclosures will be submitted in due course.
