ISDI has partnered with Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), ranked #1 Design University in the Americas and Europe by Red Dot and #15 globally by QS, to launch a global experiential design pathway for Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) students.
Students will complete the first two years at ISDI in Mumbai, building foundations in design thinking, studio practice, interdisciplinary learning and industry‑led projects.
In the third year, students move to SCAD’s Atlanta campus, earn 15 international academic credits, and participate in SCADpro, the university’s innovation studio, working on real‑world challenges with brands such as Google, Apple, BMW and Chanel.
After the international experience, students return to ISDI to finish their B.Des., graduating with integrated global academic and industry exposure.
The partnership was announced by Dr. Indu Shahani, Founding President & Chancellor of ATLAS SkillTech University, and Maken Payne, Executive Director of Partnerships at SCAD.
ATLAS SkillTech University, located in Mumbai’s business district, is India’s first urban multidisciplinary university, NAAC A‑grade accredited, comprising four schools: ATLAS ISME (Management & Entrepreneurship), ISDI (Design & Innovation), ATLAS uGDX (Technology) and ATLAS School of Law.
