BIS Manak Veer Award Recognises iSTEEL’s Five‑Year Zero‑Failure Record
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) presented the Manak Veer Award to iSTEEL XLS‑D TMT bars during the World Standards Day celebrations in Chennai on 14 October 2026. The award acknowledges a five‑year period of zero test failures in periodic BIS testing of randomly selected samples taken from both the factory floor and the market, confirming full conformity with the applicable Indian Standards.
The award was received by Mr. Sakthivel, General Manager, who accepted it on behalf of Viki Industries Private Limited, the manufacturer of the iSTEEL brand. This recognition follows a Certificate of Appreciation received in 2024, marking the second BIS quality accolade for the company.

Quality assurance is underpinned by a NABL‑accredited factory testing laboratory, comprehensive mechanical and chemical testing, and ISO 9001:2015 certification. The XLS‑D product line also holds GreenPro certification, and the manufacturing operations are powered by green energy sources.
