On 17 September 2026, from Sonipat, Haryana, Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) announced its historic debut in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, securing a place in the 171‑180 band and thereby entering the world’s Top 200 business schools.

The QS Global MBA Rankings 2027 list 19 India‑based MBA providers, with five institutions making their first appearance this year; JGBS leads this new cohort with its entry in the 171‑180 global band. The school also achieved the No. 1 ranking among private university business schools in India for its MBA programme.

Comparative Positioning

In its inaugural ranking, JGBS was placed ahead of several long‑established Indian Institutes of Management, specifically IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur.

Regional Rankings

Within the Asian context, JGU secured the 23rd position among 81 MBA programmes and attained the 16th spot for Employability, underscoring a strong regional performance.

Evaluation Criteria

The QS rankings assess programmes across five dimensions: Employability, Thought Leadership, Diversity, Value for Money, and Alumni Outcomes.
