Jindal Steel Completes 6 MTPA Angul Expansion to 12 MTPA

Jindal Steel commissioned BOF-3 (3 MTPA) at Angul, completing its 6 MTPA expansion to reach 12 MTPA total capacity at the site.
Overall company crude steel capacity rises to 15.6 MTPA, including 3.6 MTPA at Raigarh, making Angul one of India's largest single-location steel complexes.
The expansion, completed within planned timeframe, is expected to drive higher volumes, operating leverage, margin improvement, and cost optimisation.
