JK Cement invested ₹2.81 crore for a 26% stake in Truere Current Private Limited, a renewable energy SPV.
The investment supports the company's long-term renewable energy strategy for its Gotan plant power supply.
The transaction is not a related party transaction and was executed at arm's length terms.
The target SPV, incorporated in April 2024, is developing a Battery Energy Storage System in Rajasthan.
