Market Conditions and Strategic Context
Retail volumes in China were largely impacted by the cessation in June 2026 of vehicles produced locally by the CJLR joint venture. In the Middle East, ongoing disruption impacted wholesales quarter-on-quarter but retail volumes indicate underlying demand remains strong. The highly anticipated launch of Jaguar Type 01 electric model is scheduled for October 6, 2026 in New York, following a planned wind down of outgoing Jaguar models over the past year.
Future Reporting
JLR will report its second quarter financial results for the period ended 30 September 2026 in November 2026. Additional detailed volume data will be available by 7 October 2026 on the Investor Relations pages of the JLR website.
