John Cockerill India Wins ₹1,250-1,300 Cr JSW Contract

Contract Details

John Cockerill India Limited (JCIL) and its wholly owned subsidiary John Cockerill Metal International SA (JCMI) have been entrusted by JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited with the Design, Engineering, Supply, Supervision of Erection & Commissioning of:

• Two Annealing & Coating Lines (ACL 1 & ACL 2)
• One Annealing & Pickling Line (APL)

for a CRNO Project as per terms and conditions mentioned in the Letter of Intent.

Financial Value Breakdown

The aggregate contract value is approximately INR 1,250 – 1,300 Crores, comprising:

• JCIL portion: Approximately INR 550 Crores
• JCMI portion: Approximately EUR 30–35 Million
• Consortium portion (with furnace supplier group): Approximately INR 400 Crores

Execution Timeline

The contract is to be executed within 36 months from May 2026.

Entity Relationships

The order was awarded by a domestic entity (JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited). The promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the contract. The order does not fall within related party transactions.
