John Cockerill India Limited (JCIL) has been awarded a significant contract by A1 Iron & Steel Tanzania Limited, an international entity. The contract involves Design Manufacturing, critical Supply & provide supervisory services for erection commissioning and performance testing of four steel processing equipment lines:
- (1) Push Pull Pickling Line ("PPPL")
- (1) 6-Hi Single Stand Reversible Cold Rolling Mill ("CRM")
- (1) Continuous Galvanizing Line ("CGL")
- (1) Acid Regeneration Plant ("ARP")
Collectively referred to as the "Equipment", these will be installed at the customer's plant located at Nala Industrial Park, Dodoma City, Tanzania.
The aggregate contract value is approximately INR 200 Crores.
The order has been awarded by an international entity and does not constitute a related party transaction. The promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the contract.
The time period for execution is within 10 months from August 2026.
