Jonjua Overseas Limited has made a disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 regarding the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The company has entered into and executed an MoU with Mrs. Anjali Sharma, a lady entrepreneur based in Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh. The purpose of the MoU is cooperation and facilitation for the development of a Private Rooftop Helipad to be situated near the National Highway at Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh.

The stated objective of this project is to facilitate improved connectivity and accessibility in the remote Himalayan region, contributing to the betterment of people, tourism, emergency services, and economic activities in the region.

The development and operation of the Private Rooftop Helipad is subject to obtaining all applicable statutory, regulatory, aviation, safety, environmental, local authorities, and other requisite approvals, permissions, and clearances from competent authorities.

For the development of this project, Jonjua Overseas Limited has set up a two-member team comprising:

  • Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua, Retd. (Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Company)
  • Mr. Harmanpreet Singh Jonjua (Director)

Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua brings 48 years of experience as a military engineer (B.Sc., MIE, C.Eng.) with exposure to designing and developing helipads and STOLports in remote and border areas during his service in J&K, Punjab, Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, and overseas operations. He is the author of aviation and military engineering books and has filed a patent for a STOLport with a design length of 750 m along with Mr. Harmanpreet Singh Jonjua.

Mrs. Anjali Sharma is developing a 7-storey hotel project in Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh, and the helipad will be located on its rooftop.

The company describes itself as "A BANK DEBT FREE COMPANY" and mentions its involvement in other aviation projects including GNS AIRWAYS, SA of Cameroon (promoted by Mr. Jean Paul Nana Sandjo, former CEO of CAMAIR) and Jonjua Air Limited (a start-up air taxi promoted by The Jonjua Group).
