JSW Energy Acquires Additional 20.7% Stake in TJPS

JSW Energy executed definitive agreements to acquire an additional equity stake in Toshiba JSW Power Systems Private Limited (TJPS) from Toshiba Corporation for ₹150 crores.
Post-acquisition, JSW Energy's shareholding in TJPS increases to 20.7% on a non-diluted basis and 10.7% on a fully diluted basis, strengthening thermal supply chain resilience.
The acquisition supports JSW Energy's thermal capacity expansion to 10,658 MW by FY2030 and is expected to be completed by 15th June 2026, subject to conditions.
