JSW Energy Exercises Call Option for 26% JMPCL Stake

JSW Energy exercised its call option to acquire the remaining 26% equity stake in JSW Mahanadi Power Company Limited (JMPCL) from erstwhile financial creditors.
The acquisition follows the implementation of a Resolution Plan approved by NCLT Hyderabad Bench and is executed under a Securities Holders' Agreement dated 6th March 2025.
The company will provide detailed acquisition information required under SEBI Listing Regulations at the time of the actual stake purchase completion.
This action completes JSW Energy's 100% ownership acquisition of JMPCL, which was previously known as KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited.
