Jubilant Ingrevia Limited has made a disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR Regulations regarding tax deduction at source procedures for the proposed final dividend for financial year 2025-26.
The Board of Directors at their meeting held on May 26, 2026, recommended a final dividend of ₹2.50 per equity share of face value of Re. 1 each for FY 2025-26, subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
The final dividend will be paid to shareholders who hold equity shares as on the record date of Friday, July 24, 2026.
TDS Procedures for Dividend Payment
Pursuant to the Income-tax Act, 2025, the Company will withhold taxes at prescribed rates on dividend payments. Key provisions include:
For Resident Shareholders:
- No tax deduction if total dividend paid during TY 2026-27 does not exceed ₹10,000 for resident individual shareholders
- 10% TDS rate for residents with valid PAN updated with Depository Participant/RTA
- 20% TDS rate for residents with no/invalid PAN
- Nil TDS available for certain categories upon submission of specific declarations/documents (Form 12I, entities under sections 393(4), 393(5), 393(6) of Income-tax Act, Category I and II AIFs)
For Non-Resident Shareholders:
- 20% TDS plus applicable surcharge and cess for FIIs/FPIs, or tax treaty rate whichever is beneficial
- 10% TDS plus applicable surcharge and cess for Category III AIFs located in IFSC
- 30% TDS for shareholders tax residents of Notified Jurisdictional Area
- Nil TDS for Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds notified by Central Government under Serial Number 7 of Fifth Schedule
- Nil TDS for Subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as prescribed under Serial Number 7 of Fifth Schedule
Documentation Requirements
Shareholders must submit relevant forms and documents to avail beneficial tax rates:
- Resident shareholders: Form 12I, self-declaration forms (Annexure-1 & 2), PAN copy, supporting documents
- Non-resident shareholders: Tax Residency Certificate, online Form 41 filed on India Income Tax Portal, self-declaration forms (Annexure-3 to 9), PAN copy (if available)
Key Deadlines
- All communications regarding tax rate determination must be received by Friday, August 14, 2026
- Documents received after this date will not be considered
Additional Information
- TDS certificates will be issued electronically to shareholders' registered email addresses
- Shareholders must update KYC details including PAN, email ID, address, mobile number, and bank account details with RTA/Depository Participant
- The Company reserves the right to independently verify PAN details and reject incomplete documents
- Shareholders holding shares under multiple accounts with different residential status under single PAN will be subject to the highest applicable tax rate
