Launch of MHIG MAGIC OTT Platform
On Thursday, 13 August 2026, entrepreneur‑producer‑director K.K. (Kashinath Kumar) together with MHIG CAPITAL and K KAY Production Pvt. Ltd. hosted a grand media launch in Mumbai to unveil the new over‑the‑top (OTT) platform MHIG MAGIC. The launch showcased the short film "Pehchaana Kya?", which K.K. produced and directed, with Simrann Pahwa as co‑producer. The film stars Kunal Verma, Satakahi Kiran and Divya Rai, and features the soulful track "Shabnam Ki Boondein" composed by Tannmay Pahwa.
MHIG MAGIC is positioned as a premium, audience‑first streaming service and introduces an innovative "Watch & Earn" proposition that combines entertainment consumption with participative rewards for viewers. The platform’s nationwide marketing and distribution responsibilities have been assigned to P SQUARE MEDIA.
In addition to the debut short, K KAY Production Pvt. Ltd. announced a slate of three feature‑film projects slated to commence shooting in November. The projects are:
- Thums Up – concept and direction by K.K.; story, screenplay and dialogues by Vishal Kumar Pandey and Divyanshu Prateek; music and score by Tannmay Pahwa.
- Mangya – concept and direction by K.K.; story and screenplay by Sanjeev K Rajat and Manoj Sethi; music and score by Tannmay Pahwa.
- Bajrangi Moksha – written and directed by Nanda Kumara; music and score by Tannmay Pahwa.
All three films will be produced by K KAY Production Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with MHIG CAPITAL and will be distributed through the MHIG MAGIC platform, leveraging the same marketing partner, P SQUARE MEDIA, for nationwide reach. The announcement underscores a strategic vision to build an integrated entertainment ecosystem that consolidates investment, production, and distribution under a single digital umbrella.
