Kalyani Cast Tech Limited has made a regulatory disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR Regulations regarding its subsidiary KMT Engineering Private Limited.

The subsidiary has received approval from Western Railway for commissioning of its Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Shivlakha (KEGS) Station, Ahmedabad Division, Gujarat. The approval was granted through Western Railway's Advance Rates Notification No. 72 (Goods) of 2026 dated August 06, 2026.

Terminal Specifications and Operations

  • The GCT has been assigned Alpha & Numerical Code: KEGS / 08524078
  • Track capacity: CC+8
  • Operation basis: Non-TDB (Non Through Distance Basis) and Non-EOL
  • Freight charging: Freight will be charged up to Shivlakha station only, with siding charges levied beyond the serving station at prevailing shunting rates
  • Weighment: Until commissioning of EIMWB at KEGS GCT, EIMWB of Samkhiali (SIOB) and Adesar (AAR) is nominated for weighment of rakes
  • FOIS system: Until installation of FOIS at GCT, Samkhiali (SIOB) is notified as Nodal Station for TMS working with IP address 10.68.201.44

Approval Terms

The GCT is opened temporarily with non-interlocked connectivity for a period of six months from the date of issue of the notification (August 06, 2026). The division must complete all pending issues including signing of GCT Agreement within this period and submit a fresh proposal.

The commissioning represents an important milestone for Kalyani Cast Tech Limited in strengthening its cargo handling and logistics operations, while also contributing to the reduction of logistics costs.
