Kauvery Hospital Sponsors 35 Women Players

Kauvery Hospital announced its sponsorship of 35 women basketball players participating in the Stephen Koshy Masters Tournament 2026. The tournament is scheduled for 25‑28 June 2026 at the Sports Council Indoor Stadium in Kottayam, Kerala, and will feature 100 teams across men’s and women’s categories. The women players will compete in four age brackets—30+, 35+, 40+ and 45+—and are drawn from cities including Chennai, Bangalore, Dehradun, Mumbai, Punjab, Kerala, Coimbatore and Salem, representing working professionals, homemakers, mothers and other backgrounds. Dr. Manivannan Selvaraj, Managing Director of Kauvery Hospital, stated that the initiative aims to promote active living, preventive health awareness and women’s empowerment through sport.
