Board Meeting Outcomes
The Board of Directors of KEI Industries Limited, at their meeting held on Monday, 03rd August, 2026, approved the proposed capacity expansion of manufacturing capacities of Wires & Cables at the upcoming new unit located at Industrial Plot No. SP3-4, 5 & 6 at Industrial Area, Salarpur, Khairthal-Tijara District, Rajasthan.
Capacity Addition Details
Existing Capacity and Utilization (as on 30.06.2026)
Annual Existing Capacity:
- Communication Cable: 28,800 KMS
- House Wires / Winding Wires: 23,89,400 MT
- Stainless Steel (SS) Wires: 9,000 MT
Annual Existing Capacity Utilization:
- Cables: 72%
- Communication Cable: 45%
- House Wires / Winding Wires: 61%
- Stainless Steel (SS) Wires: 91%
Proposed Capacity Addition at Salarpur
Annual Proposed Addition:
- Cables: 50,000 KMS
- GI Wires (for backward integration): 40,000 MT
Implementation Timeline: To be operational by September 2028 in a phased manner.
Investment Required: Approximately ₹700 Crores.
Mode of Financing: Internal accruals.
Rationale: This additional capacity will help the Company to cater to the increased demand.
