Kirloskar Ferrous Commissions 35 MW Jalna Solar Plant

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited has completed installation of an additional 35 MW DC Solar Plant at Mantha, Helas, Jalna 431504, Maharashtra. Operations commenced on 6 August 2026.

Capacity Enhancement

With this addition, the total capacity of Solar Plants at Jalna has been enhanced to 105 MW DC.

Financial Details

Project cost for the enhancement was approximately ₹97 Crores (net of recoverable taxes). The project was financed through borrowing and internal accruals.

Operational Impact

Power generation from the Solar Plants will be utilized for captive consumption, resulting in reduction in power costs for the company.
