Kirloskar Industries Limited submitted a regulatory filing regarding its material subsidiary, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (KFIL). The filing contains an intimation made by KFIL to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The enclosed communication from KFIL, dated 7 August 2026, provides an operational update regarding its solar plants. The company completed the installation of an additional 35 MW DC Solar Plant at Mantha, Helas, Jalna 431504, Maharashtra. Operations of this new capacity commenced on 6 August 2026.

With this expansion, the total capacity of the Solar Plants at Jalna has been enhanced to 105 MW DC. This project represents a continuation of previously communicated plans, referenced through letter No. 3148/25 dated 31 January 2025.

The project cost for this capacity enhancement was approximately ₹97 Crores (net of recoverable taxes). The funding for this capital expenditure was arranged through a combination of borrowing and internal accruals.

The power generated from these solar plants will be utilized for captive consumption. The primary stated benefit of this expansion is the reduction in power costs for the company's operations.
