The Board of Directors of KMC Speciality Hospitals (India) Limited, at their meeting held on 29th May, 2026, approved the purchase of a vacant land parcel. The land admeasures approximately 1 acre and is situated at Alexandria Road, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. It is adjoining the Company's existing hospital premises.
The estimated consideration for the land acquisition is Rs. 62.50 crores. This amount is exclusive of incidental expenses related to registration and possession of the land.
The proposed acquisition will be funded through a combination of internal accruals and debt. The stated purpose of the acquisition is to support the Company's future expansion plans by facilitating the addition of approximately 300 beds to the existing hospital infrastructure.
The company confirms that this transaction is not a related party transaction.
