KONE Inaugurates India's First Digital Experience Centre in Pune

On 9 October 2026, KONE, the global elevator and escalator leader, officially opened India’s first KONE Digital Experience Centre (DEC) in Pune. The inauguration was conducted jointly by Jussi Herlin, Executive Vice Chair of KONE, Philippe Delorme, President and CEO of KONE, and Nandan Nilekani, Co‑founder and Chairman of the Board of Infosys.

The DEC is described as an immersive customer environment where visitors can see, experience, and engage with digital capabilities that shape the future of People Flow™ and smart buildings. Built around the customer journey, the centre demonstrates how digitalisation, connectivity, artificial intelligence, and data‑driven insights can add value across the building lifecycle. Key interactive experiences include:

  • KONE Studio – a digital platform allowing customers to explore and configure elevator solutions.
  • MyKONE – a portal providing visibility across projects, equipment, and services throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • E‑Link – real‑time equipment status and operational visibility supporting proactive management.
  • Service Dashboard – a consolidated view of key service and operational insights, delivering equipment performance metrics to customers.

Philippe Delorme stated that the centre, being the first of its kind in the Indian elevator and escalator market, gives customers a tangible view of how digitalisation, connectivity and AI are shaping People Flow. Amit Gossain, Managing Director of KONE India, called the inauguration an important milestone in KONE’s digital transformation journey and reiterated the company’s focus on using data, AI and digital innovation to make buildings more responsive, efficient and sustainable.
