KP Energy Installs First Indian-Made 4.2MW Wind Turbine

KP Energy Limited installed India's first 'Make in India' 4.2M160 wind turbine manufactured by Senvion India in south Gujarat.
The 4.2 MW turbine features a 160-meter rotor diameter and 140-meter hub height, engineered for low-to-medium wind regimes with over 85% localisation.
The installation represents a milestone in next-generation wind technology adoption under the Make in India initiative, enhancing energy capture efficiency.
Chairman Dr. Faruk Patel stated this reinforces KP Group's commitment to advanced renewable technologies and India's sustainable energy transition.
