KPI Green Energy Wins 76.6 MW Hybrid Power Project LOI

Project Details

KPI Green Energy Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for development of a Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project under a Group Captive arrangement. The project comprises:

• 33.6 MW of Wind capacity
• 33.6 MW AC / 43 MW DC of Solar capacity
• Aggregate capacity: 33.6 / 76.6 MW DC
• Location: Gujarat

Contract Terms

The project will be developed through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for development, ownership and operation. Key terms include:

• Execution timeline: 14 months from Stage-2 connectivity (latest by 31st December 2027)
• Contract term: 25 years from the Commencement Date of the Energy Supply Agreement
• Awarding entity: Private Body Corporate (Domestic Entity)
• Nature: Group Captive Renewable Energy Partnership

Corporate Relationships

• No promoter/promoter group/group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order
• The contract does not fall within related party transactions

Strategic Significance

The project strengthens the Company's presence in the C&I (Commercial & Industrial) and Group Captive renewable energy segments. It enhances the Company's Wind, Solar and Hybrid capabilities and adds to its order book. This supports the Company's strategy of expanding through IPP (Independent Power Producer), Group Captive and EPC opportunities.
