Launch of KRAFTON Ad Platform India
On 20 August 2026, KRAFTON Ad Platform India (KADP India), the Indian subsidiary of South‑Korea‑based NEPTUNE, announced the official launch of its advertising technology business in India. KADP India was established in April 2026 following KRAFTON Inc.’s acquisition of a majority stake in NEPTUNE in April 2025, and will serve as the strategic vehicle to deliver advanced ad‑tech solutions and operations to the Indian market.
Partnership with BGMI
KADP India’s entry is anchored by a partnership with KRAFTON to manage the advertising operations for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), described as India’s biggest mobile game. BGMI, launched by KRAFTON in 2021, has amassed more than 260 million cumulative users. The partnership covers the full advertising value chain – from inventory planning and creative design to campaign delivery, optimisation, and operational management – using NEPTUNE’s proprietary technology platform and a local operations team.
Prior Brand Collaborations on BGMI
BGMI has already demonstrated the effectiveness of in‑game advertising through collaborations with leading brands, including:
- Royal Enfield – featuring the Bullet 350 and Continental GT 650 models;
- Mahindra – showcasing the BE 6 electric SUV;
- Hero MotoCorp – highlighting the Xtreme 160R 4V and 125R motorcycles;
- PepsiCo – promoting the Sting X BGMI beverage.
Each collaboration is cited as translating gaming‑led brand integrations into measurable real‑world business outcomes.
Expansion Plans
Starting with BGMI, KADP India intends to broaden its client base by partnering with a range of premium digital media platforms across India, with the goal of building a premium advertising ecosystem that offers brands differentiated, data‑driven solutions and measurable campaign performance.
