KRAFTON Launches Battlin – India’s First Unified BGMI Tournament Platform
On 17 October 2026 in Hyderabad, KRAFTON, Inc. announced the launch of Battlin, a mobile‑first, BGMI‑first tournament platform that consolidates tournament discovery, registration, scheduling, room management, results capture, participant communication and reward disbursement into a single application. The platform automates bracket creation, room allocation and notifications, allowing hosts to set up a competition in an evening rather than a week, and ensures that rewards are paid out by the platform itself, eliminating reliance on third‑party apps and providing transparent, skill‑based competition without wagering or betting.
The inaugural event, Battlin Open Season 1, opened for registration until 1 November 2026, offering more than 5,000 slots. The competition runs from 2 November to 29 November 2026 across two tracks. Track 1 awards a BGIS slot and a cash prize of ₹5 lakh, while Track 2 carries a cash prize of ₹15 lakh, bringing the total prize pool to ₹20 lakh. Results and rewards are tracked and disbursed directly through the Battlin app.
James Yongkwan Kim, Lead – Battlin at KRAFTON, stated that the platform aims to make competitive play more accessible by removing the need for personal connections or city‑to‑city travel, and by providing clear visibility of reward conditions and timelines before registration.
Battlin is positioned to support individuals, creators, colleges, gaming cafés and organisations to host their own tournaments on the same infrastructure used for official events, thereby strengthening grassroots competitive gaming in India.
