Krisala Developers Announces 1.5‑Acre Swaminarayan Temple
Krisala Developers, a Pune‑based real‑estate firm with over 14 years of experience, announced that a BAPS Swaminarayan Temple will be constructed on approximately 1.5 acres within its flagship “Land of Dreams” township in the Vadgaon‑Lonavala growth corridor of Pune, Maharashtra. The temple will be the first Swaminarayan shrine located in such close proximity to a large residential development in the city and is intended to provide residents with a place of worship, festival celebrations and community‑cultural activities without the need to travel outside the township.
The project is currently in the planning and development stage; construction timelines will be confirmed by the temple trust in due course. Once completed, the temple is expected to host regular religious observances, cultural programmes and community events, thereby adding a distinctive spiritual and social infrastructure component to the rapidly emerging micro‑market.
Mr. Aakash Agarwal, Managing Director of Krisala Developers, said that having a Swaminarayan Temple within the township “adds something that cannot be created through residential amenities alone” and enhances the everyday living experience for families who value faith‑based traditions and community spaces.
Krisala Developers has delivered more than 20 projects to over 9,000 families, with over 2.5 million sq ft already built and 10.5 million sq ft under development across residential, commercial and integrated formats. The addition of the temple is positioned to further validate the long‑term destination value of the Vadgaon‑Lonavala belt, supporting its transition from a peripheral location to a self‑sufficient, well‑rounded micro‑market.
