Key Management Changes

Four officials have been promoted to Senior Management Personnel (SMP) effective July 1, 2026, with promotion circulars issued on October 6, 2026:

1. Dr. C Jayakumar

  • Designation: Senior Vice President & Head Corporate Human Resources
  • Date of Joining: May 4, 1988 (38 years with company)
  • Background: Distinguished HR leader with over 38 years of experience in strategic HRM & organizational transformation. Alumnus of London Business School, holds doctorate in leadership, certification in executive coaching from CFI, and certified in Organizational Development from NTL Institute of Advanced Behavioural Sciences, USA. Currently serves as National President of the National HRD Network.

2. Mr. Suresh Kumar Narang

  • Designation: Senior Vice President & IC Head CarbonLite Solutions IC & Chief Executive – LMB
  • Date of Joining: February 10, 2010 (16 years with company)
  • Background: Over four decades of experience across power sector spanning project design, execution, operations, commercial management, coal mining, and consulting. Led execution of India's first Ultra Supercritical Power Project at Khargone for NTPC. Served as Chief Executive of Nabha Power Ltd (2021-2026). Honours graduate in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, completed executive leadership programmes at London Business School, Harvard Business School, and IIM Ahmedabad.

3. Mr. S Ramkumar

  • Designation: Senior Vice President & IC Head Transportation Infrastructure IC
  • Date of Joining: July 24, 1991 (35 years with company)
  • Background: Electrical Engineer from NIT Durgapur and alumnus of London Business School Senior Executive Programme. With over three decades at L&T, currently heads the Transportation Infrastructure Division encompassing Roads, Bridges & Formations (RBF) and Railway Business Groups (RBG). Has delivered landmark road, bridge, airport, rail, metro and high-speed rail projects. Expanded international footprint with projects in Bangladesh, Mauritius, Indonesia and UAE. Previously developed L&T's Power Transmission business across India, Oman, GCC and Southeast Asia. Associated with industry bodies CII, IEEMA and FICCI.

4. Mr. Sriraman T

  • Designation: Senior Vice President & IC Head Residential, Commercial Buildings & Factories IC
  • Date of Joining: July 1, 1993 (33 years with company)
  • Background: Joined L&T as Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1992 with over 34 years of experience across diverse functions and business verticals within L&T Construction. Expertise includes project execution, contracts, procurement, business development, and business strategy. Has held leadership positions across Residential Buildings and Factories businesses, contributing significantly to growth and expansion. Currently heads Residential, Commercial Buildings and Factories IC and responsible for strategy and pan-India operations.
