Overview

L&T Technology Services (BSE: 540115, NSE: LTTS), a listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, inaugurated an AI‑Native Engineering Intelligence Lab (EI Lab) for digital manufacturing at its Bengaluru campus on 12 October 2026. The lab provides an experiential environment where customers and partners can observe AI‑driven manufacturing, digital twins and autonomous systems operating across product lifecycles, moving from virtual validation to connected production and intelligent operations.

Lab Capabilities

The EI Lab is organized around four capability pillars. The Manufacturing Intelligence pillar includes an AI‑powered Manufacturing Command Center delivering executive decision‑intelligence, a manufacturing data fabric built on a knowledge graph, and a supply‑chain control tower that leverages AI‑driven production planning and multi‑plant benchmarking. The AI‑Native Factory pillar showcases intelligent machines, robots, cobots, drones and autonomous systems working together with minimal human intervention, powered by a NVIDIA‑accelerated environment that integrates NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, PhysX, Cosmos, NeMo and OpenUSD‑based digital‑twin workflows for accelerated visualization and industrial/physical AI. The Operations AI & Autonomy pillar provides a verification gate that validates actions generated by agent swarms before they reach equipment, enabling governed and safer autonomous decision‑making across factory design, simulation, production, process and quality control, maintenance and sustainability. Finally, the Unified Intelligence platform, EIOne, aggregates more than 100 Engineering Intelligence solutions and agentic AI swarms into a single governed ecosystem, allowing enterprises to rapidly build, deploy, orchestrate and scale AI‑driven engineering and manufacturing workflows with enterprise‑grade security, governance and operational control.

Partnerships and Leadership Remarks

Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at NVIDIA, stated that AI is transforming how manufacturers design, simulate and operate future factories, and that the EI Lab combines NVIDIA’s hardware, software and world‑model technologies with LTTS’s engineering expertise to give manufacturers a practical environment for exploring AI‑driven, simulation‑first industrial transformation. Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services and NASSCOM Executive Council Member, said the lab brings Engineering Intelligence into a tangible manufacturing setting, allowing customers to experience the convergence of engineering, AI and physical systems, and highlighted that the collaboration with NVIDIA adds advanced simulation and accelerated computing capabilities while LTTS’s domain expertise translates these technologies into practical solutions for its global clientele.
