L&T's Water & Effluent Treatment business won a significant design-build-operate order from Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board, Assam.
The order, valued between ₹1,000–₹2,500 crore, covers design, supply, installation, construction, and 5-year O&M for South-East Guwahati.
Scope includes barge-mounted intake, water treatment plant, distribution network, household connections, and a fully integrated SCADA system.
