A Deloitte‑NASSCOM study projects AI‑talent demand to almost double, rising from 650,000 in 2022 to over 1.25 million by 2027, as the AI market expands at an annual rate of 25‑35 %, outpacing the growth of skilled labour.

Curriculum Enhancements

The updated programme retains core technical subjects—Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Cloud computing—and adds a suite of enterprise‑focused AI engineering modules:

  • Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) with production‑grade retrieval design
  • AI agent development and multi‑agent coordination
  • Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration
  • Evaluation and testing frameworks for non‑deterministic systems

Practical training involves tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, Crew AI and the Hugging Face ecosystem. The programme now includes 40 hours of dedicated Agentic AI training spread across four terms and more than 30 applied projects built on real business scenarios.

AI Co‑Lab and Certification

Learnbay introduced an AI Co‑Lab that allows learners to solve live problem statements sourced from startups or their own workplaces, moving beyond pre‑designed classroom exercises that feature clean datasets and known solutions. Participants completing the track receive dual certification.

Extension to Software Engineering Track

The institution has extended similar AI‑integrated learning pathways to its software development and analytics tracks, enabling software engineers to combine application development with AI‑driven, customer‑centric solutions—skills aligned with the emerging Forward Deployed Engineer role.

Industry Feedback Loop

Curriculum updates are driven by an ongoing review process that incorporates feedback from engineers and hiring partners. According to Co‑Founder and Chief Business Officer Abhishek Gupta, hiring partners relay the specific interview challenges candidates face; this input is then woven into the syllabus to keep content current. Chief Operating Officer Ravi Pradhan emphasized that professionals benefit more from understanding how models operate within systems, how outputs are reviewed, and how to address issues, rather than from isolated generative‑AI courses.

Partnerships and Accreditation

Learnbay delivers its Generative AI and Agentic AI Master’s programmes in collaboration with IBM, Microsoft and IIT Patna, maintains an academic partnership with Woolf University, and is a member of NASSCOM.
