Legasis Pvt. Ltd., a compliance technology and advisory firm founded in 2006 and headquartered in Mumbai, organised the 12th edition of its Compliance 10/10 Symposium and Awards in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on 13 October 2026. The event brought together business, legal and compliance leaders to discuss how organisations can move beyond regulatory check‑lists and embed compliance into everyday business decisions.

Core Themes

The symposium focused on bridging the gap between documented policies and their practical implementation. Key themes included accountability, risk management, ethical decision‑making and strong governance as foundations for organisational trust and resilience. Participants were urged to shift from a “tick‑the‑box” mindset to a culture of “compliance by choice.”

The programme was formally opened by Dr. Anita Shantharam, Founder Director of EthicsIndia – a Legasis Company. Sessions covered:

  • Data privacy and cybersecurity in the age of artificial intelligence
  • Risk and resilience

Discussions highlighted the fundamental gap between information and independent judgement, stressing that timely information, independent thinking and the courage to act are essential for real accountability.

Interactive Elements

The event featured a Compliance Quiz titled “Who Got Compliance Right?” and a Compliance Theatre performance called “Where Is the Deficit?”, providing a blend of learning and theatrical insight.
