LEGO Group’s First LEGO Certified Store in Mumbai

On July 25, 2026, The LEGO Group inaugurated its first LEGO Certified Store in Mumbai, located in R City Mall, Ghatkopar. The store, spanning 2,310 sq ft, is the fifth LEGO Certified Store in India, following openings in Gurugram (Ambience Mall), two stores in Bengaluru, and one in Chennai.

The new outlet showcases more than 250 LEGO sets, featuring exclusive products such as the LEGO® Technic™ Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Megacar and the LEGO® Icons Arcade Pinball Machine, which are available only at LEGO Certified Stores.

Launch Highlights and World Record

The opening ceremony was led by Bhavana Mandon, Country Manager, LEGO India, alongside Rajesh Narang, Founder & CEO, Ample Group, and Anuradha Singh, Head of Retail, Runwal Realty. The event attracted over 300 children and popular digital creators Rannvijay Singha, Ayush Mehra, Agasthya Shah, Raunaq Rajani, and Ishpreet Balbir.

A Guinness World Records™ attempt was staged, where Ritam Bhatnagar, a noted adult LEGO fan, helped construct the world’s largest LEGO brick mosaic (multiple panels) using 738,000 bricks. The mosaic depicted iconic Mumbai elements—Bandra‑Worli Sea Link, city taxis, coastline, and a “Hello Mumbai” banner.

In‑Store Experiences

The store introduces India’s first LEGO vertical Play Wall and several Mumbai‑themed models, including a LEGO Dabbawala model built with 29,000 bricks and pop‑art designs of the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Bandra‑Worli Sea Link, and the iconic Kaali Peeli taxi.

Post‑Launch Community Initiatives

On July 26, families built specially designed LEGO MRI scanner sets to help children understand the MRI process; the completed models will be donated to hospitals. The LEGO Group also partnered with United Way Mumbai to donate 100 LEGO sets to under‑privileged children, who visited the store on July 27 to enjoy FIFA and Spider‑Man activity zones.
