Contract 1 – AH‑64 Sight Support
The company’s Orlando, Florida facility received a $502,381,686 contract for post‑production support services for the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sight systems installed on AH‑64 aircraft. The award was issued by the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, after a single bid was solicited and received. The contract is structured as cost‑no‑fee, cost‑plus‑fixed‑fee, and firm‑fixed‑price, with work locations and funding to be determined under contracting activity W58RGZ‑26‑D‑0052. The estimated completion date is 5 July 2031.
Contract 2 – GPS III Follow‑On Modifications
Lockheed Martin Services LLC, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded a maximum firm‑fixed‑price task order of $105 million for Global Positioning System control‑segment modifications that will provide command and control capability for the next generation GPS III follow‑on space vehicles. The work will be performed in Colorado Springs and is scheduled for completion by 31 December 2030. The award was a sole‑source acquisition by Space Systems Command at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs. Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) funds of $10,068,764 are being obligated at the time of award.
Funding and Procurement Notes
The GPS contract is funded with FY‑2026 RDT&E appropriations, while the AH‑64 support contract’s funding will be allocated per individual order under the specified contracting activity. Both contracts were awarded on a single‑bid basis.
