Lockheed Martin Secures $83.2 Million Army Missile Contract

Lockheed Martin Corp. has been awarded a cost‑plus‑incentive‑fee contract modification valued at $83.2 million by the U.S. Department of War to produce additional missiles for the Army’s Conventional Prompt Strike program. The modification, identified as contract N00030‑22‑C‑1025, amends an existing Navy contract and was issued as a sole‑source award under 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1) by Strategic Systems Programs in Washington, D.C.

The Army will obligate $79.3 million of Fiscal Year 2025 Missile Procurement funds at the time of award, and these funds are not set to expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will be carried out by Lockheed Martin Space located in Littleton, Colorado, with the distribution of effort across multiple U.S. sites: 31 % in Denver, Colorado; 26 % in Magna, Utah; 14 % in Cortland, Alabama; 10 % in Simsbury, Connecticut; 7 % each in East Aurora and Owego, New York; 2 % in Sunnyvale, California; and the remaining 3 % spread across various other locations.

The contract is expected to be fully executed by June 30 2029.
