Loopie, India’s first premium baby‑gear brand founded by Akriti Gupta, disclosed that it has raised approximately ₹13 crore through a combined equity‑and‑debt round led by Sauce VC, with the proceeds earmarked for growth and expansion of its baby‑gear segment. The company, which appeared on Shark Tank India, states that its products are currently used by more than 6,000 families across India.

In its press release the brand outlined a checklist of essential travel items for parents. The Loopie Hop stroller, positioned as a flagship premium model, complies with the European EN 1888‑2 safety standard, features a 6000‑series aluminium frame weighing 8.4 kg, shock‑absorbing EVA‑Rubber wheels, a UV‑protective UPF 50+ canopy, OEKO‑TEX‑certified fabric and an integrated mosquito net, all designed for Indian travel conditions. The Loopie Lap car seat is certified under UN ECE R44/04, incorporates a 5‑point harness, 360° rotation for easy loading, and is suitable for children from birth through Group 3 (approximately up to 12 years), with OEKO‑TEX‑certified fabric. The Robin diaper bag offers 19 separate compartments to keep diapers, wipes, bottles and clothing organized for rapid changes during trips, and the brand advises parents to keep a familiar comfort item such as a blanket or small toy within easy reach.
