Lord’s Mark Industries Limited announced that it has become the first company in Asia to secure United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) registration for more than 200 surgical, medical‑care and hygiene products. The FDA‑cleared portfolio includes orthopaedic supports such as cervical‑thoracic braces, lumbar supports, abdominal belts, rib belts, chest binders, clavicle braces, shoulder immobilizers, arm slings, wrist and forearm splints, finger and thumb spica splints, elbow supports, tennis‑elbow braces, knee caps, hinged knee braces, patellar supports, ankle braces, ankle binders, foot‑drop splints and bunion correctors; compression and varicose‑vein stockings, hernia belts, scrotal and pregnancy supports, pelvic binders, cervical traction kits and walking aids; as well as hygiene and medical‑care items like Lord’s Joywipes disinfectant wipes, Magic Elastic Adhesive Bandages, IV Cannula Fixator Bandages, Wonder Cotton Crepe Bandages, Confidence adult diapers and Safelite sanitary napkins, plus medical tourniquets and disposable hot‑and‑cold gel packs.

The company plans to begin exporting these products to the United States in December 2026, positioning the United States as its primary export market while also eyeing future opportunities in South America. To support the anticipated international demand, Lord’s Mark has completed an expansion of its manufacturing capacity at its Silvassa plant ahead of schedule, enhancing its ability to meet global market requirements.

Market research from Mordor Intelligence indicates that the United States general surgical devices market is expected to grow from US$6.69 billion in 2025 to US$9.67 billion by 2031, reflecting an average annual growth rate of 6.35%. The South American counterpart is projected to increase from US$1.37 billion in 2025 to US$2.19 billion by 2031, with a compound annual growth rate of 8.20%, underscoring sizable growth potential for the product categories offered by Lord’s Mark.

Dr. Sachidanand Upadhyay, Founder, Managing Director and CEO, commented that the FDA certifications demonstrate the strength of the company’s regulatory compliance team, product quality and its vision to make India a global hub for healthcare manufacturing. He emphasized that the early completion of the Silvassa expansion enhances the firm’s capacity to serve international markets and that the company will seek partnerships with overseas distributors, healthcare suppliers and institutional buyers. Entry into each target market will require compliance with product‑specific registration, import and distribution regulations.
