LTM, a Larsen & Toubro Group company, announced on 15 July 2026 that it is leading the deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot across the L&T Group, covering roughly 140,000 employees. The rollout is positioned as one of India’s largest enterprise AI workplace transformations.
AI Impact
The AI‑powered assistant RAIma has already delivered a 70 % improvement in IT and HR query resolution and lifted employee engagement and HR productivity by 15 %. In parallel, more than 23,000 developers within LTM use AI tools on a daily basis, supported by a network of over 1,300 AI experts and enablement leads. Over 90 % of LTM’s workforce has completed generative‑AI training, embedding AI capabilities into onboarding, learning, delivery, sales and support functions.
Solutions Deployed
Key solutions being rolled out include Agent A.S.K. (Agent for Stories and Knowledge), a conversational AI tool that accelerates sales by reusing existing content, and RAIma, which provides personalized HR support via chat and voice interfaces.
Partnership and Governance
The initiative is backed by a partnership with Microsoft India, with President Puneet Chandok highlighting the shift from pilot projects to enterprise‑wide adoption. LTM’s CEO & Managing Director Venu Lambu emphasized that the deployment moves the group beyond experimentation to a scaled, responsible AI model, supported by governance frameworks covering security, privacy, compliance and ethical use.
