Partnership Announcement
On 24 September 2026, L&T Technology Services Ltd (BSE: 540115, NSE: LTTS), a listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, disclosed a strategic partnership with Cognite, a global leader in Industrial AI. The announcement, issued jointly from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and Phoenix, Arizona, United States, states that the two firms will combine LTTS’s engineering expertise with Cognite’s industrial AI and data capabilities to deliver scalable, industry‑specific solutions for asset‑intensive sectors.
Centre of Excellence and Engineer Certification
As part of the engagement, LTTS has established a dedicated Cognite Center of Excellence and has certified an initial cohort of more than 50 LTTS engineers. This centre is intended to accelerate the adoption of Industrial AI across the partnership’s target markets.
Target Sectors and First Joint Project
The collaboration will co‑develop solutions for Oil & Gas, Chemicals, LNG, CPG/FMCG, Mining, and Industrial Manufacturing sectors worldwide. The first joint project is already underway with a global top‑ten oil and gas company, where the partners are converting a manual mechanical‑integrity process into a contextualised, scalable digital workflow that enables engineers to work more efficiently, identify risk faster, and help prevent downtime and safety events.
