Launch of Integrated Centre of Excellence
Luxury Watch Works (LWW), a Mumbai‑based authorised service provider for international luxury watch brands, announced the opening of India’s first unified Centre of Excellence for luxury timepieces. The facility is located at Unit No. 39/A, 1st Floor, Kala Bhavan, Shrimad Rajchandraji Marg, behind the Opera House, Charni Road, Mumbai‑400004.
Authorised After‑Sales Service
LWW is an authorised after‑sales service centre for thirteen global brands: Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Carl F. Bucherer, Chopard, Girard‑Perregaux, IWC, Jaeger‑LeCoultre, Panerai, Piaget, Seiko, TAG Heuer, Ulysse Nardin and Vacheron Constantin. Every watch received undergoes registration and identification, a technical assessment, and a no‑obligation service estimate. Repairs are performed with brand‑sourced genuine OEM components using brand‑specific diagnostics and specialised Swiss tooling. The technical team comprises Swiss‑trained watchmakers with mastery of more than 100 mechanical calibres.
Hour Circle Lifecycle‑Management Programme
The newly launched Hour Circle is described as India’s first watch lifecycle‑management membership programme. It is offered in two tiers – Hour Signature and Hour Prestige. Both tiers provide a dedicated personal concierge, accidental‑damage cover, comprehensive repairs and restoration, expert collection and curation support, and resale assistance. The premium Hour Prestige tier adds theft protection, a 15‑day purchase/refund window, personalisation services, and authentication & valuation. Additional benefits across the programme include a single point of contact for all watch‑related needs, zero‑risk purchase protection, and advisory support for expanding a collection.
Virtual Vault Report (VVR)
LWW introduced the Virtual Vault Report, India’s first blockchain‑backed digital certification platform for luxury watches. The VVR generates a digital passport after a 50‑plus point inspection that evaluates authenticity, overall condition, technical specifications, movement performance, aesthetic condition, originality of visible components, estimated market value and an overall condition grade. The blockchain security ensures the record is immutable and can be accessed digitally by owners, prospective buyers or sellers throughout the watch’s ownership lifecycle.
Horology 101 Educational Experience
As part of the Centre of Excellence, LWW runs a 120‑minute hands‑on masterclass called Horology 101. Participants work directly with a mechanical movement under the guidance of Swiss‑trained technical specialists, learning fundamentals of movement assembly, disassembly, precision and craftsmanship. The session is beginner‑friendly, conducted in small groups, and aims to build horological awareness and appreciation among Indian watch enthusiasts.
