Programme Expansion Overview

M3M Foundation’s iMpower programme marked its seventh anniversary by inaugurating two new iMpower Multi‑Activity Resource Centres (iMpower‑MACs) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with Bal Raksha Bharat (Save the Children India). The inauguration was led by Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee and President of M3M Foundation, alongside Sanjay Sharma, Director – Resource Mobilization & External Engagement at Bal Raksha Bharat.

Centre Locations and Target Beneficiaries

  • SBI Colony–Sachivalaya Colony Centre (near Engineering College Chauraha) is designed to serve approximately 350 households, translating to about 1,650 community members, of which 520 are children.
  • Vinayakpuram Centre will cater to roughly 200 households, reaching an estimated 1,200 community members.

Both centres aim to provide safe, inclusive spaces for children and adolescents and to facilitate access to education, health, nutrition, child protection, social entitlements and other essential services for migrant families facing irregular school attendance, drop‑outs, child labour, child‑marriage risks and limited service access.

Programme Scale and Reach

Since its launch in 2019, iMpower has expanded from a migrant‑focused initiative to an integrated support ecosystem. The programme now operates eight iMpower‑MACs across Gurugram, Chandigarh and Lucknow, encompassing 35+ iMpower Clubs and Resource Centres. It connects more than 5,000 families, over 10,000 children, and 2,500+ women and adolescent girls, with more than 1,000 individuals having been mainstreamed through its interventions. Service areas include early childhood care and education, after‑school learning, nutrition, digital education and social entitlements.

Organizational Background

M3M Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the M3M Group, active in education, health, livelihoods, sports and environment. It operates across 22 states and over 1,300 villages, having positively impacted more than 5 million lives.
