Magellanic Cloud Limited announced that the premises for its advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) manufacturing and testing facility are now ready. The facility operates under the company's joint venture, MCRAY XTEND INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED ("MCRAY").

The facility is designed to support end-to-end manufacturing, assembly, system integration, high-precision testing, and distribution of advanced tactical drone systems. These systems are powered by XTEND's proprietary XOS autonomy platform.

The deployment of production and testing capabilities, along with the commencement of commercial operations, will be implemented in phases rather than all at once.

Magellanic Cloud holds a 60% equity stake in MCRAY, which is a joint venture established in collaboration with Rayonix Tech and Israel-based XTEND. This development represents a significant step in the company's strategic expansion into the defence and security sector and strengthens its focus on UAV manufacturing and autonomous technologies.

The development is described as being in the ordinary course of business of MCRAY and aligned with its business objectives in defence technology, drone manufacturing, and autonomous systems.

The company emphasized its commitment to leveraging advanced technologies and manufacturing capabilities to address emerging opportunities in defence, surveillance, and critical infrastructure sectors. This alignment supports the objectives of both Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

The company committed to keeping stock exchanges informed of any further material developments in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
