Magnet Hospitals Doctor‑Led Network Launch

On Doctor’s Day (July 1 2026), Magnet Hospitals announced the commencement of its doctor‑led hospital network, bringing together approximately 150 clinicians. The initial rollout comprises eight operational hospitals located in Langford Town, Electronic City, Jayanagar, Arakere, Jigani, Jalahalli, Mahalakshmi Layout and Nagarbhavi, all under a unified platform.

Two additional greenfield projects are slated for Kalyannagar and Varthur.

Managing Director Dinesh Madhavan stated that the network is founded on four pillars – trust, transparency, compassion and clinical outcomes – and that clinicians and nurses will hold clinical equity in the holding company, a first in India. He emphasized the use of Made‑in‑India technologies and medicines to lower costs while maintaining high clinical standards.

Chief Guest Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar, a film producer and philanthropist, highlighted the charitable component: Magnet Foundation will operate 15 beds on a charitable basis across Bangalore to serve economically weaker sections.

The co‑ownership structure is designed to align clinical decision‑making with patient interests and improve accountability. Over the next 24 months, Magnet Hospitals aims to expand to 12 locations, achieve a total capacity of roughly 1,200 beds, and recruit more than 200 clinicians.

The network is also investing in technology‑enabled care, partnering with leading medical‑technology firms and deploying an Agentic AI platform to boost operational efficiency and patient experience. In addition to adhering to national guidelines and accreditation frameworks, Magnet Hospitals has created proprietary accreditation and quality standards to ensure consistent excellence.
