Event Overview

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru Campus, an Institution of Eminence deemed‑to‑be university, organised the MAHE Alumni Sports & Health Fest (MASH 2026) on 14 June 2026 at its Yelahanka campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Theme and Programme

The fest was held under the theme \"Back in Play. Instantly.\" and brought together alumni from multiple graduating batches, their families, faculty members and staff for a full day of sports competitions, networking sessions, cultural performances, entertainment segments and family‑friendly activities.

Leadership Remarks

Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice‑Chancellor of MAHE Bengaluru, stated that alumni are among the most valuable members of any educational institution, serving as ambassadors of the university’s values and legacy, and that their achievements and continued engagement enrich the learning ecosystem through mentorship, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Institutional Significance

MAHE is an Institution of Eminence designated by the Ministry of Education in 2020 and is currently ranked third in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 rankings. The university offers more than 400 specialisations across Health Sciences, Management, Law, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Technology & Science streams through its constituent units at campuses in Manipal, Mangalore, Bengaluru, Jamshedpur and Dubai.
