Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited (MEAL), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, has launched the BE 6 SPORTEQ electric SUV series, representing the next evolution of its electric origin SUV lineup.

Battery as a Service (BaaS) Introduction: The new BE 6 SPORTEQ series starts at ₹11.45 Lakh with BaaS option, with battery cost at ₹3.75 per km considering 60 km/day usage.

BE 6 SPORTEQ Launch Edition: Top-of-the-range variant with exclusive Graphite Storm exterior and full Racing Tan leatherette interior.

BE 6 SPORTEQ Formula E Freedom Edition: Performance-focused expression with original race-inspired cockpit, two-screen display, signature halo design, and exclusive Black & Firestorm orange interior theme. Available in vibrant Satin color finishes including Rosso Impulso. Features Acceleration Boost achieving 0-100 km/h in 6.44 seconds.

Software-Defined Vehicle Capabilities

All new technology and software features introduced on the SPORTEQ series will be made available to existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S customers through over-the-air (OTA) software updates, rolled out in phases starting January 2027. The specific feature set will vary depending on vehicle model and variant.

Design and Variant Options

The SPORTEQ series is available in 12 color options including 4 new colors (Rosso Impulso, Ruby Velvet, Graphite Storm and Firestorm Orange Satin) across eight variants: ONE, TWO, THREE, THREE+, FOUR, FE, FE FOUR and Launch Edition.

Delivery Timeline

Deliveries begin on 26th August 2026 (Onam festival).
