Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has submitted a regulatory disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR Regulations regarding receipt of ESG assessment reports from two SEBI-registered ESG Rating Providers.

The company received two independent ESG ratings:

  • CRISIL ESG Ratings & Analytics Limited assigned an overall ESG Rating of 72 ("Leadership") received on 6th August 2026 at 23:56 hours. This rating places the company as the highest-rated Auto OEM in the sector. The rating improvement was supported by stronger Social and Governance performance, specifically progress in EV adoption, climate-related commitments, safety performance, and board diversity.
  • ESG Risk Assessments & Insights Limited assigned an overall ESG Score of 67 ("Strong") received on 6th August 2026 at 18:44 hours. This score places the company in the Leadership category within the automobile sector under their rating framework. The assessment highlighted company strengths in supply chain human rights, product responsibility, board governance, employee development, and financial transparency.

The company clarified that it has not engaged either rating provider for obtaining these ESG ratings. Both assessments were undertaken independently by the respective ESG Rating Providers based on information available in the public domain and other sources considered part of their evaluation process.
