Announcement

MUMBAI, India, WARSAW, Poland, and DUBAI, UAE – on September 17, 2026, Polish‑origin beverage brand MALAYALI Beer announced that every product in its portfolio has received World Beer Award recognition.

Award Details

At the 2026 World Beer Awards, MALAYALI Power earned a Silver medal in the Strong Beer category, while MALAYALI Habibi 0.0% secured Silver in the No & Low Alcohol category and an additional Silver for packaging design. These 2026 accolades follow the 2025 awards in which MALAYALI Lager won Gold and MALAYALI Non‑Alcoholic received Bronze. This achievement makes MALAYALI the youngest beer brand to have all its products recognised within four years of its inception.

Distribution and Expansion

Founded four years ago by Indian entrepreneurs Chandramohan Nallur and Sargheve Sukumaran, the brand now distributes across 25 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. It has entered international travel retail, obtaining listings in three major airport duty‑free locations, including the business lounge at Muscat International Airport. In the Middle East, partnerships with regional retailer LuLu Group have provided shelf space for MALAYALI Habibi 0.0% and the tropical hydration drink Adipoli.

Product Innovation

MALAYALI Habibi 0.0% is a zero‑alcohol, zero‑sugar malt beverage. The company states that Habibi is the second beer brand worldwide to launch a zero‑sugar, zero‑alcohol variant, positioning the product as a long‑term category rather than a short‑term trend.

Company Background

The MALAYALI name honours Kerala and its global diaspora, reflecting a cultural story while adhering to international brewing standards. Hexagon Spirits International, headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, is the parent company that manages the multi‑category portfolio of alcoholic, non‑alcoholic and functional beverages, including MALAYALI Beer and Adipoli.
