Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) announced that its School of Leadership & Management (SLM‑MRIIRS) has made its debut in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, being placed in the 301+ global band. Within this band, the school achieved a rank of 51st in Asia and 9th in India, and it secured the 2nd position among Indian institutions for diversity. SLM‑MRIIRS is one of only five Indian business schools to enter the QS Global MBA Rankings for the first time this year, the other newcomers being O.P. Jindal Global University, Jaipuria Institute of Management, the School of Business and Management at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), and Vikrant University Gwalior, bringing the total number of Indian institutions featured to nineteen.
In the 301+ global band, SLM‑MRIIRS appears alongside established Indian management schools such as IIM Udaipur, IIFT Delhi, Management Development Institute Gurgaon, XLRI – Xavier School of Management, IMT Ghaziabad and K J Somaiya Institute of Management. The ranking reflects performance across QS’s key dimensions of Employability, Return on Investment, Entrepreneurship & Alumni Outcomes, Thought Leadership and Diversity, with the school’s strong showing on Diversity underscoring its emphasis on an inclusive learning environment.
The institute highlighted its broader global‑ranking trajectory: its Online MBA programme was placed in the 76‑100 global band of the QS Online MBA Rankings 2026, ranked 9th in the Asia‑Pacific region and achieved the top global position for Class Experience. MRIIRS also debuted in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and is listed in the QS Asia University Rankings, further expanding its international academic presence.
