International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computing 2026 (ICAIC 2026)

Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) is hosting the second International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computing (ICAIC 2026) from 22 to 24 October 2026. The three‑day event is organised by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Computer Science & Engineering, and brings together researchers, academicians, industry professionals and students to discuss emerging developments, research challenges and real‑world applications of AI and computing.

The inaugural session was attended by Dr. Somitra Kumar Sanadhya, Professor at the Wadhwani School of AI & Intelligent Systems, IIT Kanpur, who served as Chief Guest, and Dr. Emmanuel S. Pilli, Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, MNIT Jaipur, who was the Guest of Honour. Additional university dignitaries present included Dr. Niti Nipun Sharma, President of MUJ; Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Rana, Pro‑President of MUJ; and Dr. Kuldip Singh Sangwan, Dean, Faculty of Science, Technology and Architecture.

The conference received 736 research paper submissions from the global community. Following a rigorous peer‑review process, 81 papers were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of approximately 11 %. Participants represented 16 countries, namely the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Russia, Latvia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Iraq, Nigeria and India.

The technical programme is organised into three major tracks:

1. Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications – covering healthcare, medical imaging, robotics and intelligent systems.

2. Open Innovation & Industry Applications – focusing on financial technology, sustainability, education and Industry 4.0.

3. Advanced Computational Techniques and Emerging Trends – addressing quantum computing, cybersecurity, explainable AI and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR).

Special sessions further explore Generative AI, intelligent healthcare, cloud security and sustainable digital transformation, underscoring the expanding cross‑sectoral relevance of AI.

A key academic outcome is that all accepted and presented papers will be submitted for publication in Springer's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS) series, released in two volumes. The LNNS series is indexed in SCOPUS, DBLP, INSPEC and zbMATH, providing a recognized platform for disseminating the research.
