Marine Electricals (India) Limited disclosed a proposal to convert its 99%-owned partnership firm, Narhari Engineering Works, into a Private Limited Company.
The proposed names for the new entity include MEL Heavy Industries, MEL Advanced Machines, or MEL Heavy Machineries Private Limited, subject to regulatory approvals.
The company will retain a 99% shareholding in the converted entity, in line with its existing partnership contribution.
